You are absolutely right. The spread alone can kill a true penny stock trader.

Buyer beware!

Thanks, Jeff

I have to agree with you. There's no doubt that Copper knows how to pick pennies that are going to gap up at the open. I'm sure Copper is making a lot of money.

However, The stock opened at .04. The lowest price today was .012 according to Yahoo, my guess is that was a sale at the bid and that the ask at the time was .02 or more. The high that occurred after that low point was between .03 and .04. My guess is that the bid never exceeded .03.

Assuming this is all true (Since I don't have a bid/ask history of today) if you traded perfectly at the low and the high, the best you could buy at today was .02 and the best you could sell for was .03 or better stated, a 50% gain.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to slight Copper. He has bragging rights, you know <LOL>. I just wish we all could get the kind of gains that are being reflected by his picks.

Maybe the contest should be modified to account for this... Nah... to tough to figure out.

Better yet, maybe we can persuade copper to give us some picks before the market close so we can load up for next mornings gap.....
