Never used one, but have inspected. I think they can be good. Very good. For a householder/craftsperson, in a ltd space, yes. Depends on cost, of course; but yes. If space is small, they're good.

If one has space and money for all the individ tools, and tables, that is better; but realistically, were it moi, I think I would Shopsmith with supplements. You get a LOT. It is real and realistic, and most people are not.

The tools work.

It's very good stuff, with some minor drawbacks. Can't lose, imho.

Definitely good.
