Putz,

<FF, only a brain-damaged dodo would not understand that "4 times as cheap" means exactly the same thing as "1/4 the price," priss *ss.>

First of all, he didn't say "4 times as cheap" he said the price was "4 times smaller". Second, I did understand what he was "trying" to say and I corrected him once. He chose to push the issue.

Ashok Kumar expects Intel's ASP's dropped 10% in one quarter - his expectations for revenues of about $6.6 billion is due to a drop of 10 percent in average selling prices from the first quarter... dailynews.yahoo.com

Does anyone have the CC replay numbers for Intel and for AMD? Since Intel doesn't give ASP's, I can see the analysts pumping Intel to try and figure out how much ASP's dropped. A key thing in Intel's report is the total revenue number, not the earnings per share. If its less than Kumar's estimate of 6.6B, then Intel's ASP dropped even more than 10%.
