Fred, last time: ".75 times smaller" is not the same ".75 times".

Wow! You are challenging me! You know -
You are correct! "0.75 times smaller" is actually
25% bigger, and is not the same "0.75x"
Does this surprise you? Have you ever heard about
formal algebra, man?

How to put it for you in simpler term?
Ok, here is one more try:

If someone says that your pay is "2 times smaller"
than mine, would it be more comprehendable to you?
Or should I substitute the quantities in $$ for you
to understand?

<Simply pathetic.> I wholly agree. This is
called "education problem".
