Lawrence Philips is not just a head case. He has also disappointed on the football field. He also has a bad knee. The Ravens don't need that garbage. Leave it for the Niners. <g>

the ravens makes $$$$ from the stadium, it amazed me they needed a bailout. but technically it still remains funny.

even for less money, i think phillips would choose the 49ers over the ravens. look what happened to hearst upon being a 49er. he can grab huge $$$ the following years if he shows he can do it just one year as a 49er. if the 49ers want him, and he goes to the ravens (barring some huge contract), then he does not have the stuff and instead is looking out for his financial future. also if phillips can play in the nfl, jj from miami will be looking bad after having released phillips.

sporting news recently criticzing the browns for many weaknesses. i am thinking, yes, but what else is new for an expansion team, see tampa bay or atl (maybe no longer an expansion?) for years of futility.
