I guess you and Barrett decided in PMs to pick on lawyers.

As long as you promise never to hire a lawyer again, even when you are accused of a crime, you can complain freely. The amusing thing is people who complain about lawyers but are the first to rush to one to sue people or defend them if they do something bad.

Some day you will need us, and the legal profession will get the last laugh.

However, if you are going to try to get a rise out of lawyers, at least get your facts straight. The "statistics" you quote are urban myths.

I only wish I knew where you lived so I could run for the council or whatever and make your life a living torment. It would be one of the best uses of a law degree I could think of, not to mention a gift to the rest of humanity.

Isn't it strange that the richest country in the world and the freeest is chockablock with lawyers? Lawyers are people like Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR, and Earl Warren each of whom did more for human freedom than any critic of lawyers in history.
