K,

I saw several posts on the PFE thread earlier today that talked about it. Actually, that is what 1st peaked my interest. Do not know where they got it..........probably from CNBC, as well. Later, after I posted to you this evening (about 6:30 CST) Paul Kangas also stated on Nightly Business Report that many people thought PFE was reporting today, but (he) guessed they were not.

Oh yeah, also received the following included in EarningsWhispers newsletter, but it didn't give any specific date, just this week:

The company most likely to report earning inline with the analysts' estimates is Pfizer (PFE). Most
analysts feel that the company will report earnings of $0.17 and our Earnings Whisper number is
also $0.17. This number has decreased over the past couple of months due to restrictions on
Trovan, with analysts from Gruntal & Co. to Salomon Smith Barney all lowering estimates. You
should note that Zacks is reporting a consensus estimate of $0.18 because an analyst, who will
remain unnamed, has not adjusted his estimate for Pfizer's split on 7/1/99.
