Or the European investors. They're expecting the Euro to sink 5-7 percent by the end of the year. Add on a 6 percent yield.

Casaubon, i agree 100% that Latin American investors are fleeing into U.S. treasuries. this in turn has prompted short covering and has started to draw in some of the money on the sidelines.

Casaubon, one more thing: the stock market wasn't worried today by the obvious flight-to-quality buying in the bond market. this in itself is worrisome, as it indicates complacency.
