To all....my frothy emotional appeal posted on another bb....I'm going to go hit some golf balls tonight for therapy, maybe crying first will help me with my slice...

I am increasingly feeling like this company couldn't give a hoot about shareholder interest, particularly the little guy. I believe if they were genuinely interested in the capital appreciation of shareholders, they would have sold the company by now. There is no longer any doubt about Inprise's ability to make it on it's own. The shrinking revenues shows they are losing customers and not replacing them with new ones. I have no doubt in my mind that there have been offers made for this company that would bring you to at least break-even. Such beliefs mean management think they do better alone than selling in the $10 to $12. Obviously they believe this in the face of shrinking earnings, shrinking revenues, and growing losses. It also appears this thinking doesn't change with management. Perhaps we as shareholders should ask the EPA to do a study of Scottsvalley to surmise how talented developers and incompetent managers thrive in the same environment. I believe Dale had to do this earnings warning, but I also think it may be a sign he has decided not to sell the company. Power corrupts. The MS money gave them a false sense of security with the rising share price. Sadly the Board will not act until they break the 52 week low similar to what happened to Del. By then we will be lucky to get a $5/share buyout offer because we have thoroughly pissed-off everybody interested by refusing to sell at higher prices earlier because 'we can make it on our own now...the company was just mismanaged with the other guy.'
