from yahoo board...Sad News by: xyberfiend (32/F/midameria) 73701 of 73738 A loyal XYBR lurker and occassional poster has died. This is the first day I have been able to even turn on my computer. MKITROCK passed away last Tuesday at the age of 43 of a heart attack. "Danny" and I were together for 2 1/2 years. He was the love of my life. I just got back from accompanying him from Arizona back to his family in New York When I found him, he had been on his computer. CNBC was on the tv and I wouldn't be too suprised if he was lurking the XYBR board which was a main source of entertainment for him. I don't know this for sure because for some reason his computer locked up. I am telling you this because Danny I spent hours and hours and many, many evenings discussing (and often times arguing) about Xybernaut and many of you. He just hated it whenever he caught me being the moral board patrol and blasting some of you guys for your rude behavior. Since he faithfully read every post, I usually got caught. For over a year, this board was a daily part of Danny's life. He felt very bad for Xybertom (in the beginning) when he sold his CD collection. Then the little rat confused everyone by developing the alias Xybrtom. Danny and I talked for days about how awful we felt when KC's house burned down and kept track of how the Vegas trips went. He admired jrosie's technical input, DCSteve's, Jade's, and KC's honest comentary and Bill F's and PJ Young's intelligent contributions. He thought Eddyjoe had lost it. If I have confused any names with the events, please forgive me. I haven't slept for a week. Even though Danny didn't know any of you beyond your postings, You all really became somewhat of an arena of friends. There are many others in the cast of characters that he really enjoyed also. Thank you all for providing such thought provoking discussion for him. Since he was my very best friend, my phone doesn't ring 15 times a day anymore. I can't walk over to have coffee and watch his occassional crazy daytrading activity or give my input on the hot new picks. No more barbeques, trips or champagne evenings. His presence has been very strong however, and I strongly believe he is happy and peaceful and laughing at us for racing around and taking all of this so seriously. Because of this tragedy, I have come to realize that heart attacks are not uncommon for men even in their 30's. The medical communtiy doesn't seem to look for it until the 50's. It's too late for many. Please try to take this seriously and get a thorough check if high blood pressure or high cholesterol are in your family history. Danny was not overweight, looked younger than his age and appeared to be very strong and healthy. I am having a hard time even mustering up the incentive to monitor my stocks right now or even turn on my computer. I needed to check Danny's accounts so his two daughters will know where things stand when they come to help me sort things out. He was very organized so it wont be too bad. It was important for me to let you know how much you were a part of his life and it helps me to talk about it, also. He was my only stock market buddy so it will take some time to get enthused again. I will probably stay off this board for a while and will most likely be a lot lighter when I do come back in the future. Thanks for listening. Happiness and riches to all Xyberfiend ---------------------------------------------------------> My condolences to you and his family.
