All, I placed my first option order. Intel Oct 55 puts. I'm really still learning this but wanted to let the thread know I appreciate the discussion here. I also considered CPQ and MU for puts, but wound up selecting INTC. I decided to save MU for later as momentum players seem to have taken over for now. Michael told me several days ago to save some powder, so I've decided to save the Micron powder for later. My net position is still quite long, but I like the ability puts give me to cheaply hedge my portfolio against a major downdraft in the market. Good luck all. Shane
