Given how short the summers are in the NWT, and how long and cold the winters are, it is much more comfortable underground, and easier on equipment in terms of breakdowns, maintainence and and other such costs associated with operating outside in -40 degree weather for extended periods of time....the various aspects of mining underground in the NWT aren't all negatives-indeed, some are very positive....once underground, what season it is on surface doesn't matter or effect activities such as development drifting, mining, mucking, backfilling, grouting(if necessary) etc....:-)) An additional comment on the recent MPV 5034 results: although far below Winspear's results, they do provide additional confirmation to the extent and importance of the southern "group II" kimberlite field....IMO this bodes well for DSP as they are the junior with the biggest and best land spread there, and along with WSP & SUF, haven't yet been neutralized by DBRSY.... regards, teevee
