Because it is a brand new model, all wheel drive as I recall (which is a real bugger to get the kinks worked out of - just ask any early owner of a Mitsu 3000) and I wouldn't trust Audi engineering to get it right and have it stay that way. Just my two cents based on experience with 'em - I wouldn't bother with it until it proves itself out. No car mag would raise the potential reliability issue and pan the car if they want Audi advertising. The current crop of car mags are just cheer leaders, more or less.
