Herb lives in NJ Oops, my bad. I forgot he had moved. Not as if words look any different typed on one coast vs. the other, but I should have remembered that. It's still not a given, though, that Herb was aware of the callback in time to modify his article prior to publishing. They fix the errors and put the following at the end of the story: As originally published, this story contained an error. Please see Corrections and Clarifications. The catch with that is, the column, as it was written, at the time it was written, was not in error. So, technically, this would not apply. Of course, this is arguably a very grey area, and I'm sure under the right circumstances he might have offered up a prompt update. Then again, receiving 100s of nasty emails from the holders of a certain stock doesn't strike me as something that would put him in a much of a cooperative mood. At any rate, you go ahead and believe what you want to believe. I'm sure he isn't lying awake at night worrying about having your esteem.
