Mike--As I have stated insiders do matter. However they are certainly not the whole story of a company. Insiders may sell for personal reasons, they have bills to meet also.
Insiders do buy for one reason, greed. They can also be wrong for many of the same reasons we can. Typically in my experience they misjudge a market for their product or the competition. With GUMM starting to launch a new product, I would prefer myself to see the insiders put some money on the line. I haven't come up with enough negative information to short, but part of that is that I prefer fairly short term hits for shorts. Right now I have no position in GUMM and do not see myself taking one at this time.
Bill and some of the others here are very patient and will short long term, I have seen them very successful.
