I just heard Disney's Michael Eisner talking on TV regarding Disney's plan to use broadband to distribute their movies thru the internet.

I would assume that ATHM would benefit from this.

This company has tremendous potential. Hope this regulation issues
and rollout problems goes away.

Ouch! Not a glamorous side of the realities of 'getting it done'. When I had TCI for plain vanilla cable service they were the absolute prototypical bureaucratic abyss. I cancelled the service and it was a year before they came to remove their box.

That T has bought into the future with athm and its 'maid marion' of TCI, and has the reality of upgrade fever, is our reality as share holders in doubt, especially if conjoined with the legal jousting from AOL? How's the old saying go, 'The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.' The service of athm is incredible, but I got Direct TV to get away from TCI for regular television.

L/T the prospects of athm still seem excellent to me, but short term if the headaches get more attention then the honeymoon...

Hi E. Davies,

Thanks for the link to that article! WOW...that explains why it's been 3 days and nobody from TCI@Home has called me back regarding a date for installation. 2 YEARS away??!! I guess I won't be switching from AOL to @Home after all anytime in the near future.

It's disappointing that the rep did not tell me about the mess @Home seems to have in the bay area. He just said, "I'll have my supervisor call you back for an installation date..." As a consumer, that leaves a real sour taste in my mouth.

As a trader, I'm looking to see if ATHM will bounce off the support of $49.00 and show signs of a reversal. I have a very small position at $55.00 and will cut it if it fails to bounce off that support. I'll then look to re-buy on a sign of a good, strong reversal (low $40's?).

You would think those of us who live in Silicon Valley, just a few miles from Excite/@Home's new building, would have access to their service. I guess they weren't bargaining for all the patchwork and upgrades needed...These problems may have something to do with the recent weakness in price?

Best of luck SCOTT
