Berney, based on my own little statistics we have inflation in the NE US of over 3%. I am in doubt that the government reports the true picture of inflation. Democrats need a booming stock market to stay in power.

IMHO, US Bonds are now priced right for 3% inflation.

UK reported this morning 2.2% inflation. IMHO Western Europe is harder pressed with the rise in energy prices and the slide of the Euro.

In the US housing and services are advancing at a 5% to 6% pace. They will cool down only if the market corrects 10 to 20% and stays there.
