Ron your initial statement <<Central Banks MAKE the rules>>, and your
later one of,

<<Again, in case it's not clear enough for you yet... the CBs make the
financial rules, not politicians or lawyers. Gold falls under their
authority as a pseudo-currency. Get use to it.>>,

sends a strong indication of you being quixotic with the twist
that for you the way things should be is as they currently are,
as viewed by you unable to differentiate that which you don't
understand from that which you hold as observations.

As verification that the above is on target to describe you,
I present as evidence the following statement from your post

<<One problem with your analogy is...>>

as a deficiency in your intellect to do more than just assimilate.

I now join Bill Murphy in the statement that a response to your posts
are a waste of time and thought for my person.

Nothing personal please, as we all have a role and purpose on earth,
and I and you result in negative progress. There are many areas of
thought and endeavor that I am lacking mentally, and many of these
will in my opinion be excellent for your type of reasoning.

regards

Doug

Ron,
As you agree with the power used by US Goverment agencys, here's one you might enjoy. It was all the news for quite some time in the area. Seems the DEA agent was stopped by local cops after leaving the "working lunch" for DUI but was let go. He threatened the life of the bar owner, and threatened burn his place to the ground.
DEA Agent Jailed in Colorado Incident
DEA Agent Mark Dietze was sentenced to six months for threatening the owner of the Sedalia Bar & Grill after a group of agents had a boisterous drunken party there, running up a $100 beer tab for the "working lunch." The DEA officially apologized for the incident. [Denver] Rocky Mountain News, Feb. 2
