Yeah, it would be hard to see Bill fully appreciating the grand humor of the room where I used to trade at Broadway, in NYC... where a few of the less inhibited, more emotionally volatile traders were prone to cursing fits, smashing their keyboards over their monitors spraying the other traders with keys like Chiclets, in an attempt at stress relief and to establish their psychological and physical dominance amongst like-minded sophisticates -- but only when their positions were going against them <GG>

BTW, IMHO CANSLIM really *IS* Momentum investing... Bill doesn't like to buy them "extended", but the technique pretty much defines itself as such. Yeah, I know the entry is fancy (usually off a cup and handle on the day chart), he buys them on the first pullback coming out of congestion (very few stocks trade that cleanly anymore)... but it's still momentum -- he rides the strongest issues with the best balance sheets/earnings, breaking out to new highs with as little overhead supply as possible ("momentum stocks"). Nothing wrong with that!
