Not to worry on this net sell-off, it is only the pause that refreshes. Names will rebound after mkt realizes no major post yhoo correction is going to happen, big bond rally to 5.9% will help a lot too.

<<<Mohan: It seems like Buffet doesn't understand how the market values tech and internet stocks.....He is a legendary investor BUT his shareholders would be MUCH BETTER OFF if he invested in the blue chips in the tech sector >>>
Mr Buffets portfolio represents a sought-after safe haven for funds of people who "have it made" and wish to pursue other interests.
And the stock price is a continual reminder of past and possible future gains.
If he could relate the tech stock/computer revolution to its fundamental issue of communications ( think data, newspapers, radio, TV, Ted Turner, Murdock, and Disney) then he would be very interested. But the turmoil and uncertainties of the tech stocks caused by newer companies trying to get "on-board" at this time would cause investments to be called speculation.
I don't know what stocks he has, but it seems that investments in IBM, Hwp, Csco, LU, T, Msft, and even Dell would not displease the shareholders or be considered speculation.
Provided the economies of Europe, China, India, South America, Asia, Canada, Australia hold together then the growth of the tech field is immeasurable. I think thats why Dell is building all those new facilities.
