Hitachi claims that its new 133 MHz DDR SDRAM when used on a 64 bit bus will provide 2.1 GByte/s peak bandwidth.

This is comparing apples and oranges again.

DRDRAM, when used on a 64-bit bus (4 channels) will in fact give a peak data transfer rate of 6.4 G byte/s.
