Because the only mention of Mr. Patterson on this thread was that same testimony and Mr. Quiel allegedly wasn't representing AZNT at that time, does that mean that Mr. Patterson and Mr. Rachfall really don't have any direct connection to AZNT? Yes, far as I know the only one of the AZNT players documentably linked to Patterson is Bob Quiel. In testimony given in February, he said he'd shorted AZNT stock through Patterson and Pacific International in June 1997, to the best of his recollection; he wasn't sure about the date. He said further that he thought he began working as a consultant for AZNT in August or September 1997. Needless to say, all this isn't necessarily meaningful. PI is one of the firms that anyone wishing to short stock in Canada might go to. I had heard that someone had posted that some time ago, Mr. Patterson had made a figurative "threat" against Mr. Michael Sylver, but I haven't seen that post referenced over here yet. If that's true (the "threat"), then why would Mr. Patterson "threaten" Mr. Sylver (whom he theoretically never met or knew)? Interesting question. Yes, Pugs made such a post, though I didn't copy it. Can't imagine why Patterson would feel so strongly about Sylver. Someone should ask him.
