Steve, I think you are referring to an entirely different concept, where fuel cells furnish only the electricity for the auxiliary components. There is a lot of research being done to make this technology available for many adaptations to power needs, including automotive. Some of the breakthroughs needed are cheaper catalysts,ie; cobalt rather than platinum, pure hydrogen delivery to the fuel cells, or better reformer for hydrogen from carbon fuels. What is the potential for carbon nanotubes as a hydrogen carrier? I am not a scientist or engineer so have to depend on others to explain these things to me, as they develop. Methonex may play an important role in fuel cell future as the preferable fuel. Also. a source of hydrogen if extracted from methanol for carbon or metallic carriers, What's your thoughts?

Our mutual interest is in FC development, however, I feel that the future for MEOH does not necessarily have to depend on FC's to be a good stock to hold. If used extensively as an auto fuel of course the stock would sky rocket, During the last few years it has been hovering at the bottom. That is where I bought it. The future for this product could very easily be an ingredient for construction materials, ect. Our building material from wood is becoming shorter in supply and costlier, synthetic material could use methonal products, I have been told. As a stock, I think it may still have a future. But if the fuel of choice will be methonal, than we should become a little richer. Thanks for your interest. I should be looking at your DCTH to see how it is doing. But at this time not thinking of expanding.

Steve, I've been neglecting any attempt to stay abreast of any new fuel cell developments. The fuel cell itself, is a viable piece of equipment, but I have not heard of any recent breakthroughs for reformers. Have you heard anything beyond the usual theory's? The methanol reformer would still be the best prospect to bring this system into our daily life. Not only for the ease of infrastructure, also ethanol could be used as a good hydrogen carrier, it would be the same as methanol for disbursement. This would ease the dependence on fossil fuels in areas where petroleum products are hard to obtain and farm income needs to increase. Carbon filiments also cannot be ignored. There is a great future for fuel cell development ahead of us, but the hydrogen carrier problem needs to be solved first. Your thoughts, or anyone else that has an opinion. Jim
