Partial IGNORE feature is already available ... Simply do not respond to Go North (or whomever you believe is not contributing to thread in meaningful way). This has worked to a reasonable extent on technical discussion groups I am involved in -- it helps, even if the offending poster doesn't slow down. If you assume that each post elicits only two replies, this immediately eliminates 66% of the total "noise". If the concern is confusion created to new thread readers, then instead of a reply, post more substantive messages about the progress of the company. Maybe create a "standard" informative message for new thread readers, and post it twice a week (rather than trying to reply to every "junk" post). Of course, a well-thought out "short" argument is useful, and deserves a reply. This entire strategy is best reserved for continuous streams of content-free postings. FYI: I am in @ about $3 and long, but not significant volume. cheers, steve
