It may not be until August that they do the free listings (because of site stability), and it is not clear whether they will allow sellers to post an unlimited number of items, or just a single item for free.

I doubt too many sellers who depend on eBay for a living are waiting, but I would imagine quite a few casual sellers are waiting OR posting them on the free sites.

It will be interesting to see if the people who are posting auctions for free, once trying eBay, will then be willing to pay for future listings.
