Thanks PMS, my b-i-l has a 1 gig hard drive. The last time I checked he had 200 meg still available. He has a Colorado Tape backup that I think holds 100 meg. He only has 2 tapes so I don't think I can do a complete disk backup. I do have a Quarterdeck Zipit program that I got with Norton Systemworks that I could use to zip some of the programs and then put them on tape. Would that work? As far as partioning the drive, it's only a 1 gig drive so don't think it would be a good idea.
