The internet is so flooded with services, retailers, products, etc. that the days of "build it and they will come running" are over and have been over for a while.

Now, there has to be an *extremely compelling reason* for people to use a specific product because a compelling reason is just not enough. A great example is AMZN and YHOO's "challenge" to EBAY. Go to AMZN and look for, say, a Rado watch. Do the same at EBAY. Big difference.

AMZN wanted to go into the online person to person auction business. AMZN is a "blue chip" net company with a lot of experience and a long track record of success (as measure in net terms). They set up a site. Where are the people? The question is, "Where is the extremely compelling reason for people to use AMZN's site?" There is no extremely compelling reason and that is why few people are using it.

Where is the extremely compelling reason for people to use CUST's products? And keep in mind that CUST is no AMZN.
