I wish I could say NITE was acting strong, but it is not. Many net stocks are up (even YHOO, CNET) - and not all on news (AMZN, DCLK).

In fact, sector things like AMTD, NDB, JBOH are all up. Meanwhile, NITE is down hard from yesterday which itself was a disaster. And it seems to struggle to even hold above 54 - all on volume that is not exactly extra low. I was hoping to see further drops in NITE (if any), to happen on much lower volume. I'm afraid the overhanging share issue is really poisoning the well here (whether in reality the concern is based on reality doesn't matter, as long as people believe it).

If this drift continues for the rest of the week, a lot of damage will be done to the stock, because plenty of folks bought in for the earnings run. They've had it in all the brokers, even if they sold off after earnings. In NITE, thus far, they've been cheated of any earnings run even. This thing has done nothing but a couple of sucker rallies since the FED meeting. I hope this doesn't do too much damage, otherwise you could see the stock languish for quite some time (especially that the share overhang issue will be with us for a long time).
