Jenna,

I was wondering what your thought are on INTC's earnings.

Fuguring that AMD had one of its worst quarters while selling an enormous amount of chips one has to wonder about INTC.

INTC will be announcing price reductions on the Pentium III this Friday and it is mainly due in my opinion to lackluster sales.

Thus, the high end of INTC chips are not doing as well. Also, their low end Celeron chips has been the best sellers. The celeron competes head to head with AMD's K6-2 chips which have been eating up market share at a rapid pace in sub 1000 computers.

All in all I would guess INTC will meet expectations but miss the whisper. From watching Level II it appears a few MM's have been on the ask side constantly and a look at time/sales with a quote of the bid/ask at that time appears to suggest a downfall.

Your feedback is much appreciated.

Best Regards,
Icy

JEF now up 2 9/16.. PHCM up nearly 5.. liking walking through land mines today. PHCM and JEF trying hard in a dismal market.. the more dismal the market is getting the more of a chance I'll be picking up some INTC puts. ADRX just got another strong buy and a raise of estimates. I would ahve picked up ADLAC but although it did trigger, its not moving quickly enough.
