Here is reason for question. newsalert.com Falconbridge Options MAUDE and SIRIOS' Lac RocherProperty MONTREAL, QUEBEC--Officers of MAUDE LAKE EXPLORATION LTD. ("MAUDE") and SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. ("SIRIOS") are pleased to announce they have entered into an option and eventually a joint venture agreement with Falconbridge Ltd. for their 42-claim (672 hectares) property in the Lac Rocher area near Nuinsco's nickel-copper discovery in Quebec. The agreement entitles Falconbridge to acquire a 51 percent interest in the property by paying $30,000 and by completing exploration expenditures of approximately $100,000 over a two-yearperiod. Falconbridge's interest in the claims will be part of the Falconbridge-Donner joint venture. Staking of this property by SIRIOS and MAUDE was targeting favourable geology coupled with a geophysical response typical of nickel-copper deposits. This agreement confirms the soundness of this approach. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval. MAUDE and SIRIOS are among the most active exploration companies in Quebec. Their shares are respectively listed for trading on the Montreal Exchange under MAU and SOI.
