Thanks lml,

First, I should say that I volunteered to live so far out into the country. Secondly, I've got easy access to a T-1 connection at the local college, and that is plenty fast for 98% of what I do. So I hope no one thinks I'm truly deprived in any sense of the word.

When USW provisioned the residence I live in in the 70's they decided 2 pairs was all the building needed. It's a duplex, so one pair per household is all we have to work with. Should we want to bring more lines in, and of course we do, the LEC will take care of everything upstream from the pedestal about 800' from the house. We will have to pay upfront about $600 to complete the cable run. Again, I'm resisting paying out the cash to USW for something they should have thought to provide in the first place. The long and short of it is that the 'Shotgun' won't help one who won't help himself... ;-))

'Nuff said about my petty problems, shall we get back to the LM agenda, looking for the winners in the woolly canyons of Wall Street?

Thanks, Ray
