I also got the same info this morning. To get a better idea of what the issues were in that case check out the detailed decision by the EUB on their web site (www.eub.gov.ab.ca). From what I have read we are not in the same ballpark regarding H2S levels in the proposed Turner Valley wells. (2 or 3% H2S vs 34%+ H2S) If the EUB is prepared to allow the drilling of this Can 88 well then they should also allow the drilling of the T V wells. The big question is what conditions will they put on these wells and how long will this process take. In the case of this Can 88 well it took about 1 year for the decision to be finalized after the hearing was completed. As the TV wells are not in the same category as the Can 88 well I hope the decision process will not take as long.
