... montana better than elway? maybe better supporting cast. what did he do when he played for KC? Ugh. Take a look Montana's supporting cast in the 1982 Super Bowl. It was a ragtag bunch of scrubs. As for Montana's stint with KC, it was nothing short of brilliant. He took that team farther than they ever went in the Schottenheimer era, even though his body was at its breaking point. Watching him shred Buddy Ryan's dominant Oiler defense was quite a sight to behold. Montana was divine at QB. Elway was merely a great athlete with heart. Tom
