The management that matters is Dave Orr. Very strong individual who came from Alcatel where he ran North America. He joined BBT in May 1997. As to why he would stay, go back to the 10K when he joined and you will see that he has a $4M signing bonus that he collects after 4 years plus the usual zillion options (he is two plus years into it). The people who are going to leave have left. I am one of them. The people still there believe in the new product and the alliances. Getting Dave Orr on your side for 2 points is a low risk, but long term bet.
