Hi Kemble,

You bought more DELL???? You must believe INTC had a roaring good quarter! I like to hear MD thinks sales will quad... but 5 years seems like a long time and I'd guess doesn't support the high p/e. How bout a quad in 3 years? That might do it.

I thought IBM was making all its money off web servers, and ecommerce s/w stacks. Is this what MD wants to get into?

CIO Magazine's WebBusiness Section Has GREAT things to say about DELL's Premiere Pages.....DELL is ranked as one of the 50 "Leaders of the Pack" on the Web. Here is the Passage on DELL from the cover story...

<<Dell Computer Corp.

Dell Premier Pages Service

Dell Computer Corp.'s public Internet site is often held up as a model of e-commerce success. The same should be said for Dell's Premier Pages Service, password-protected sites for the PC manufacturer's corporate and public sector customers. Available for free to top-drawer U.S. customers, Premier Pages accounts for 40 percent of Dell's online revenues each day, approximately $5.6 million.

Dell's online initiatives are successful because the company follows a simple premise: Offer services that make the process of buying, maintaining and upgrading computers easier for customers. Premier Pages certainly delivers on that ideal by including an impressive array of functionality. Dell hosts about 10,000 Premier Pages for customers, each of which is accessed by a unique log-on. By publishing specific corporate standards on the pages and incorporating a centralized purchasing system, Dell helps customers standardize and manage all their PC purchases. Customers can view their company's standard PC configurations, fill out customized order forms that abide by existing purchase processes, look up order details for the past four months and access customized technical support information including software screenshots for troubleshooting purposes. Once customers order PCs, Premier Pages makes it easy to track shipping status by customer or purchase order numbers. Since different levels of user access to pages are available, customers can let employees purchase products for home use at Dell's corporate discount prices.

Even though Premier Pages is comprehensive, Dell doesn't neglect the human element. Each customer page includes contact information for a dedicated account team at Dell. Finding out who to call is only a click away.

None of this surprises me Kemble...DELL KNOWS HOW TO EXECUTE for all its stakeholders. The company is better by design and so are their websites. Take good notes at the Annual Meeting <G>..!!
