Often a page will hang while I'm waiting for a doubleclick server. Since I have absolutely no desire to see those ads, saving an extra second on a page by not downloading them is just a bonus, in my book. And by the way, 10 megabit DSL is not offered by PacBell. In fact, due to my distance from the telco substation, I am not even able to get 8 megabit service. 1.5 is as fast as my line qualified for.
