It does load faster. Most ads these days are vended from a small group of servers owned by doubleclick, and they simply can't handle the load. Often a page will hang while I'm waiting for a doubleclick server.

Since I have absolutely no desire to see those ads, saving an extra second on a page by not downloading them is just a bonus, in my book.

And by the way, 10 megabit DSL is not offered by PacBell. In fact, due to my distance from the telco substation, I am not even able to get 8 megabit service. 1.5 is as fast as my line qualified for.

Glenn, Glenn! Kissyputs has eight browsers open simultaneously while dealing with several discount brokers in order to buy options in 5000 contract lots and get confirmations in reversing markets in milliseconds. I thought he was on OC3!

Kissyputs is, as always, a phenom.
