Thanks for that post with the article from Bloomberg about CPQ. I just sold off some ORCL shares in my wife's IRA with a nice 40% gain, and was looking to buy something else. I was actually looking at CPQ, thinking perhaps we might see a 5 point pop into earnings on the 28th, but this article is negative enough for me to rethink that strategy. I'll have to find something else to invest in and just stick with my aqualung on the other CPQ shares in my account.

Just when you think they can't screw it up any worse, they do. Worst run company in America....what a shame. They should hire this thread to find a CEO - we'd have one on the job by Friday - and I'm not even kidding.

For what it's worth, this article presents no new information except maybe some current analyst's opinion of the state of the CEO search. And, it's impossible to say how recently those comments were made. It's nothing more than a recast of what we already know.

So, as far as I'm concerned, things remain the same and I expect the stock to move with the market, without any further news, until the earnings release.
