If the 600 MHz laughALON systems don't ship by August 2, they will be the SECOND 600 MHz x86 CPU/System on the market.

Won't that be a kicker for AMD - to be beaten to market by Intel AGAIN !


That would be a real disaster for AMD to be shipping an x86 CPU which runs at the same clock speed as Intel's fastest, and is only 10-50% faster in architectural performance.

But AMD had 600 MHz foils and even shipped a few engineering samples before Intel has 600 MHz systems on the shelf... everywhere... in quantity. Using Scumbrian logic, this means that AMD arrived first with 600 MHz processors.
