May I butt in? Thanks.... A 1 million dollar home in CA. is about equivelant to a $350,000 home in Florida...depending on location. I used to be in RE and flew twice a year from FL. to CA. Always checked on RE market while there. I could not believe the junk that was going for $500,000 compared to $125-200,000 here in the Orlando area. I am speaking of the LA basin area. In the SF area it is even worse. I don't know how people can afford those prices even if they work 3 jobs. Fart once, and they go belly-up! IMHO We nearly moved from FL to CA, but son and family decided to leave CA and come back to FL. You should see what they have for $250,000. A really nice home...5 br/4 bath, Family room, eat-in kitchen, double garage of course. (Most garages in CA are not finished off inside while in FL. ALL garages are finished inside). A LARGE swimming pool with jaccuzi....all screened in of course. Patio/pool area must be in area of 1200 sq ft. (maybe more) Room on patio for 3 sets of patio furniture. A nice summer kitchen under the patio roof line. Also has solar system. Also many fruit trees and storage shed. Too much to name here. It is a GREAT entertainment home and just one of many available in the Central Fl area. His home is in Oviedo, like mine is. Florida has some drawbacks like other areas in the US. One thing about Fl.....for the most part it is NEW. Meaning the housing areas, shopping malls, commercial areas et al are not OLD like in most parts of CA. Here, it is a pleasure to see the newness springing up all over the place. But, I digress......!! Come on down....you'll love the atmosphere, people and jobs for the taking. Chamber of Commerce needs to hire me.............Yahoo! Bill
