Re: MRL Completion???

Can anyone be surprised that MRL says the 700 is ready?
I don't think there's been much question for some time that this would be MRL's position.
But when Exxon states their position on the 700's state of readiness, that's when the buying opportunity will be close at hand, imho.

Think about it this way:
You ordered a new car. When the dealer called you and said it was ready to be picked up, you Wanted to find problems with it. You had teams of experts to take with you to see the car, and check every detail.
(Many millions of $ are riding on this.)
Could you and your team find something wrong in order to dispute the car's readiness in court?
You bet you could.

MRL is the car dealer. They are calling Exxon to say "It's Ready!"
Anyone who thinks this is a fait accompli because MRL says the 700 is ready ---- I've got a great deal on a bridge here in NYC for you.

If EXXON says "Oh, OK. We'll proceed with the deal as originally written since you say the 700 is ready." then I will give up investing and just put my money in a nice bond fund because clearly I don't have a clue how the world works.

I'm looking for a nice dip to enlarge my MRL position when Exxon makes their statement.

diana (Who is sure of herself, but nonetheless Often Wrong)
