It is possible for them to announce a split but I highly doubt it. The reason is that press releases were issued on exactly how many shares were being issued by insiders and how many shares were being issued by the company. Additionally, they stated the anticipated funds to be raised by the company. If there were a split, then the filing would have to be amended b/c the company would have to issue twice the amount of shares to raise the same amount of funds. Chances are if they were going to split they would have said so prior to or with the secondary announcement. What this does mean however is that earnings will most likely exceed street estimates and probably any whisper numbers that are out there. Highly unlikely that a company would announce they were going to issue equity if they thought their stock price was going to tank.
