Yes, but bear in mind that WCOMs' internet company is UUNET Technologies which has proved itself in the internet industry. MCI only became part of WCOM last year.

For the longs more good news "From MetricomIn June, MCOM engaged 250 San Francisco Bay Area customers in ongoing testing of our Ricochet2 128 kbps mobile data service. After successfully deploying and testing an Alpha network, we now expect customers to put the new technology through its paces during the Summer. This testing is necessary to prepare for physical deployment in the second half of the year and commercial availability of the industry's first 128 kbps wireless data access service, starting in 12 metropolitan areas by the middle of next year."
