To everyone, Have have been using Schwab for a about
3 + weeks. In order to get the quick trades a and
cheapest commission you HAVE to sign up pcquote also.
Today was the first time I really had any real trouble
with them, and it was very minor compared to the crap
I used to deal with greenline. All orders are placed
online to get best commish. Very easy to short, no phone
crap. I have noticed since they finally got their own
seat they have been slightly slower than before First
Marathon was clearing. I mentioned it to them today again
and they said they are working on it. ( hmmmmmmmm, Ive heard
that before ;) to tell you the truth an inside bid/ask order
can take as little as 1 1/2 minutes to confirmation, there
have been slower orders than that though.

PCquote is definitely proved to be more reliable so far
for me, and also faster, by at least 2-9(being the exception) seconds. I still havent set the news up for Canadian, it is
not as comprehensive as CSW. US news is good.

I keep CSW almost for one reason only, the market scan is
extremely quick and easy to use, and the broker anaylsis
features, I find this extremely helpful. I can confirm my
trades even before Schwab does, and of course its a backup
in the event pcqoute is down, of which has happened only once!

I deal with only one guy who in Schwab who is charge of
pcquote customers(matt) he fixes my grievances, never get an
attitude, many others have fielded my calls and all have treated
me well, answer the phone may at most on the 3rd ring main
trading desk. I would say that using the combo has improved my trading because I have more confidence in the system.

Last but not least, remember that if you decide to sign up
for the combo, tell Chris Maclean at pcquote that I referred
you and I will get a free month of which I will give anyone of
you half of savings, so that your first month is about 250 bucks
instead of 550. Not a bad way to start while your learning their
system.

Best Regards

WB
