MB, a question on Intel
Looked at the numbers and listened to the CC and got confused by the accounting for the "All Other Revenues", as did most of the analysts on line. <g>
Apparently there were large IAG (Intel Architecture group) shipments to disti in June, about $400 Million. These shipments were included in the "All Other" category.
Does this mean that Intel is showing "sales to" disti as revenues? (And accounting for it in "All Other")?
How does this impact Q3? If they've taken the revenues in Q2 but "sales out" of disti is in Q3, isn't that $400 million that won't show up in Q3? (Can't count it twice).
Maybe that's why they're saying Q3 will be slightly up, when historically Q3 has been way up. JMHO's.

MM, This ain't a virgin move. I had other ones a few months back, too. And I have had long calls on ERTS a few times and still have long calls on Sangstat. So, it ain't all puts. It is just mostly puts. So I am still on the light gray side. <g>
