From the conference call (a recorded version of the call can
be brought up in Real Audio. The link is under www.intc.com. This
part of the call is at 33:43):

Dan Scobel at Foxscot has our next question

Q.) Ah, yes, just two confirmations.

(Unrelated question)

Q.) And also to confirm an earlier comment. You said the 820 chipset will support 133 Megahertz synchronous DRams. Is that correct?

A) It has an option using a, if you will, a bridge chip called the MTH to use either SDRam or in native mode, if you will, RDram. And thats been in the plans for, you know, for a long, long time.

Q) OK, so it will support it though but it does need the bridge chip.

A) Thats right.
