Serge Collins, it is a sad commentary when you have to rely on the fact that most people don't read Barron's to come to this thread and spam it.
I read the Barron's article. It has nothing to do with NN. I don't have the time or inclination to waste any more on this than I already have and it looks like the thread agrees with me

Did anyone read the cover story in Barron's this weekend? It was about the demise
of Harnischfeger, the heavy equipment company. It reminded me so much of
Newbridge. Here is one telling line in the article, Harnischfeger..."established a
modern-day record by falling short of analysts expectations in 14 out of the 24
quarters since the beginning of 1993."

Can someone check to see if Newbridge has assumed top spot in the "earnings
shortfall" hit parade, now that Harnischfeger has filed for bankruptcy protection.
