Internet Users in China Will Number 6.7 Million This Year, 33 Million by 2003 (6/29/99) The number of China's internet users is forecasted to triple from its current level of 2.1 million users to 6.7 mln by the end of the year, according to a June 28 report jointly released by BDA (China), an internet research firm based in Hong Kong, and The Strategis Group, Inc., a Washington D.C.-based market research company.
