TXCI picked by STK2WATCH News letter.

Short term potential of $1.75. Still an easy double from this level. Should continue to climb into conference call on 7/22. A great play for the next two weeks or long term. Needs to break through $1, then it should go past $1.50 quickly.

Novell Revs BorderManager
(07/13/99, 7:57 p.m. ET)
By Amy Rogers , Computer Reseller News
Novell Tuesday released the next version of BorderManager, its network-security management suite.

BorderManager Enterprise Edition 3.5 integrates user-authentication capabilities with NDS. Regardless of whether remote users are traveling or are in an office location, BorderManager now can authenticate them against NDS using smart cards, tokens, and other security technologies.

Novell and ActivCard offer a co-branded token for use with BorderManager. RADIUS-compliant tokens from Security Dynamics and other vendors also work in tandem with Novell's software.

Novell officials said new authentication policies in NDS let network managers administer tokens and users by letting them synchronize token data with NDS data, initializing tokens and other tasks.

Other new features include a facility to let administrators enable BorderManager's system alerts; support for real-time streaming protocol to aid in smoother transmission of audio streams; and a new Telnet proxy feature.

Server-based pricing for the new edition begins at $1,995.

Novell said Virtual Private Networking and caching services also are integrated with NDS.
