hey jcc,

beats me. same thing happens to me from time to time. usually it seems like the next time i go in to delete, it lets me. or i can delete it via file manager (find file).

wish i had a better answer. try find files and go that route. or shine it on.

did i say that?

Access is denied ...

Sometimes Windows grabs a file. When Windows has the file, you cannot access it. Solution: In DOS mode, use the ERASE command.

Better yet, in DOS mode, RENAME the file. After you're certain you won't need it and your system runs OK, you can erase it. Usually, stuff in \temp can be deleted without problems.
