Will take a look at your plays, Rock. Market is topsy turvy . . . MOT beat street. . . .traded down after market. . . INTC disappointed. . . .traded up after market. . . Forward looking carrying more weight than actual earnings. Too hard to predict current crop. . . selling earnings plays BEFORE reports. . .safer. IPO's losing steam too. . . An old play of ours. . .AXC. . . was gaining a bit of steam last month, but has since lost it. . . .got a new thread this week: Subject 29370 They are slowly and quietly becoming the mini-CMGI of internet video/TV. . . most deals are on the small side. . . but that's how it starts. . . .all they need now is an investment by a major and suddenly their acquisitions become larger fish. Remember Ampex sold off their tape division. . .now called Quantegy. . .so they are now mostly a holding company and they do data storage solutions. I am working on the long process of DD for chosing next year's winners. . . .and the website. Swing play. . ."cure for the common cold" VPHM. . . .positions on OCOM and WHX. . . and watching daytraders lose big time falling for MM tricks. Other than that. . . . .all is pretty calm on the safe side of high ield plays. . . . At this rate, we'll all be sitting around playing cards by the end of the month. Rande Is
